Hi there,
Hmm, what to put in a bio? Well, for one thing, if you want to get hold of me you can at:

and you can read my blog at:

I currently work lighting and compositing visual effects and computer animation for film in Los Angeles, which pays for my photographic habit. Prior to working in the film industry I was an aspiring actor and singer in Toronto earning money doing secretarial work, computer graphics and computer consulting. My 10 years of acting futility followed 5 years at the University of Waterloo, which followed the usual litany of school years in Ottawa (Lisgar COllegiate).
Anyhow, I'm not sure what any of this has to do with the pictures I take, but it is offered up for whatever it is worth.
As you can see from my pictures, I spend a lot of time outdoors climbing, hiking, kayaking, cycling, running, skiing, and generally doing whatever I can to stay outside.
My favourite subject for photos is abstraction, and I am happiest when I can get a clean abstract from a natural subject. This isn't easy, but I think that is what makes it worth doing.
Well, if you have read this far I hope you have gleaned something of value, and I have to thank my work for having the computers go down for long enough that I actually had time to write this missive. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures.
