Today's gallery is relatively short. I left Skalafell early in the morning and drove down to the village of Höfn, where I stopped at a grounded boat they have on display there as a dedication to the fishermen. On the road to Djúpivogur I stopped to take pictures of some Icelandic horses. These are a unique breed, and they will not allow other horses on the island to breed with them. Also if they should take a horse abroad to show it, it is not allowed to return. Anyhow, I reached my accommodation in Djúpivogur fairly early, and went for a hike around the peninsula it is on. Many birds nest there and I got a few pictures of those.
